Kidney International (KI – International Society of Nephrology) and The Journal of Investigative Dermatology (JID – Society for Investigative Dermatology) will move from Blackwell Publishing to Nature Publishing Group, effective January 1, 2006. Ausserdem verkauft (verliert?) Blackwell Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica an Taylor & Francis und erhält fünf Elsevier-Titel von The Federation of European Microbiological Societies (Meldung auf Blackwell-Seite, bei Nature u. T&F steht nichts).
Die nächsten Preiserhöhungen aufgrund des Nature Tier-Modells sind also schon absehbar, auf die gnädige 25%-Begrenzung sollte man sich nicht verlassen, handelt es sich doch um frische Titel. Ich bin gespannt auf die 2006er Preise von KI und JID – £ 978 und £ 576 für e-only 2005 sind zu schlagen!
