Es wird langsam Zeit, sich auf den groessten medizinbibliothekarischen Event der letzten 18 Jahre vorzubereiten. Anfang Mai 2013 wird ein gemeinsamer MLA- und ICML-Kongreß in Boston stattfinden. Die Teilnehmerzahl wird wohl wieder – wie 1995 – 2.000 Personen locker uebersteigen. Call for Papers der einzelnen Sektionen bzw. Es gibt auch zahlreiche Travel Grants (s.u.) und ich glaube, dass auch die AGMB und die EAHIL sich nicht lumpen lassen werden, wenn ein Mitglied dorthin fahren moechte.

Cunningham Memorial International Grants- Apply Today!
Instead of the traditional Cunningham Memorial International
Fellowship, for 2013 only, grants of up to $2,000 are being awarded
for medical librarians outside of the United States and Canada to
attend the combined MLA ’13, 11th International Congress on Medical
Librarianship (ICML), 7th International Conference of Animal Health
Information Specialists (ICAHIS), and 6th International Clinical
Librarian Conference (ICLC) May 2013 meeting in Boston, MA. These
grants are supported in part by the 11th ICML. A grant application
